ABOUT GAL-OASIS FINANCE INCORPORATED

   
       

GAL-OASIS FINANCE INCORPORATED is established to help businesses finance more of their customers and increase their revenue. Our services are very unique to the marketplace. We are a loan-processing company that offers several types of loan programs for many different types of individuals, based on their credit.

Unlike having only one lending source with limited loan options and limited approval ratios, GAL-OASIS FINANCE INCORPORATED has lending options through several lending partners that include programs for A, B, C and D credit. Our secure system was developed to handle the large flow of data and allows each application to be processed and matched with appropriate lender, based on certain pre-defined data collection parameters.

Our technology design allows our internal loan-processors the ability to submit and track each application. Our customers are always updated and know exactly where they are in getting the funds they need for their product or service.

The Board

The primary role of GAL-OASIS FINANCE INCORPORATED's Board of Directors is to oversee how management serves the interests of shareowners and other stakeholders. To do this, GAL-OASIS FINANCE INCORPORATED's Directors have adopted corporate governance principles aimed at ensuring that the Board is independent and fully informed on the key strategic and risk issues facing GAL-OASIS FINANCE INCORPORATED. GAL-OASIS FINANCE INCORPORATED has met its goal to have two-thirds of its Board be independent under a strict definition of independence. Today, 15 of GAL-OASIS FINANCE INCORPORATED's 16 Directors are independent.

The GAL-OASIS FINANCE INCORPORATED Board held 14 meetings in 2014, including three meetings of the independent directors of the Board. Each outside Board member is expected to visit at least two GAL-OASIS FINANCE INCORPORATED businesses without the involvement of corporate management in order to develop his or her own feel for the Company. Board members focus on the areas that are important to shareowners – strategy, risk management, leadership development, and regulatory and compliance matters.

In 2014, they received briefings on a variety of issues, including capital allocation and business development with a focus on Alstom, risk management with a focus on GAL-OASIS FINANCE INCORPORATED Capital, business simplification, emerging markets growth, leadership development, technology excellence, IT and cybersecurity strategy, advanced manufacturing, global research and development strategy, industrial internet initiatives and GAL-OASIS FINANCE INCORPORATED’s branding, marketing and operating initiatives. At the end of the year, the Board and each of its committees conducted a thorough self-evaluation.
